Creating a Community Online


I just finished a webinar by Chris Brogan on building communities. These are a few suggestion from Chris:

  1. Listen (really listen) to your customers and find them where they hang out online.
  2. Find out/ask them what they want or need
  3. Join their community? Make a new community? Both?
  4. Introduce yourself, invite them
  5. Ask them for their goals and hopes
  6. Share your goals and hopes
  7. Just do it (again and again!)
